Corporate & Social Responsibility Policy

DSA Connect is committed to ensuring that its business undertakings are conducted in a sustainable, equitable and community-focused way that has social, economic and environmental benefits.

Corporate Governance

DSA Connect is committed to ensuring that its business is conducted, in all respects, according to rigorous ethical, professional and legal standards. All groups and individuals with whom DSA Connect has a business relationship will be treated in a fair, open and respectful manner. The competition will be reasonable and based upon the quality, value and integrity of the services being supplied.

Environment

DSA Connect is concerned about the environment and recognises that good environmental management must be an integral and fundamental part of its business strategy. In the course of its operations, DSA Connect continues to monitor and improve its environmental performance by:

  • Conserving energy, water, wood, paper and other resources, particularly those which are scarce or non-renewable
  • Reducing waste through re-use and recycling and by using refurbished and recycled products
  • Monitoring relevant discharges and emissions to air, land and water to ascertain what action is necessary to reduce pollution or the risk of pollution
  • Monitoring noise pollution and ensuring that noise from vehicles or any of its operation does not impact upon its neighbours or the community
  • Phasing out, where practical, ozone depleting substances and minimising the release of greenhouse gases

Community

Our ongoing commitment to the community involves supporting Mer-IT Digital, a London based charity that is working to tackle the digital divide by providing IT training and courses regardless of gender or age. Since the Lockdown they have focused on donating equipment to families in need.

Our recent initiative is partnering with New Futures Network, part of HM Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) in providing workshops, training and employment to offenders.

Employment

DSA Connect is an equal opportunities employer and does not tolerate any form of discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, marital status, sexual orientation, age or disability. All employees have full employment contracts (no zero hour contracts) and are paid above the living wage.

Ethics and Ethical Trading

DSA Connect advocates clear visibility through the utilised supply chains to know where products are being moved from and to. We are committed to ensuring that the welfare of DSA Connect Ltd (2021) workers and employment conditions within the supply chain meet or exceed recognised standards. As part of our commitment of maintaining the highest ethical standards, we support freedom of speech and encourage speaking out (or blowing the whistle) if there are serious concerns regarding service provision or the conduct of fellow employees or management.

Anti-Corruption and Bribery

It is the policy of DSA Connect to conduct all of its business in an honest and ethical manner. Bribery and corruption are not tolerated in its business and business dealings. We are committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships wherever we operate.

DSA Connect’s policy is to be open, honest and have a positive impact on each of its stakeholders including its customers, employees, suppliers, partners, the communities that we operate in and society as a whole. In line with our responsibility, we actively review our systems and policies so that our corporate and social responsibility commitments are maintained and/or improved.
